Payment and Delivery

Payment

Credit card and various ID payments	Accepted payment methods: Shop Pay / Apple Pay / Google Pay / Credit cards (VISA, Master, JCB, AMEX) All payments must be made in one lump sum. Our store has implemented the identity authentication service "3D Secure 2.0" to provide a secure payment environment.
Bank transfer/postal transfer (prepayment)	Bank transfer details: Rakuten Bank / Japan Post Bank <br>Once we have confirmed your order, we will send you an email regarding the transfer. Please transfer the money within 7 days of receiving the email. Please note that the transfer fee will be borne by the customer. *If your institution, such as a school corporation, government agency, or public institution, has its own payment regulations, we will be flexible and will accommodate them. Please contact us separately.
Cash on delivery	Company: Japan Post (Yu-Pack cash on delivery) Please pay in cash to the delivery person when the product arrives. Because this is a high-value transaction, our staff will contact you by phone or email to verify your identity before shipping. Your product will be shipped as soon as we receive your confirmation.

*For large orders, we may ask for your identity verification for security reasons. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

About delivery and shipping charges

Domestic shipping: Free shipping on all items <br>We offer free shipping within Japan, including Hokkaido, Okinawa, and remote islands.

Delivery method: Japan Post "Yu-Pack (with security service)"
To ensure the safe delivery of artworks and valuables, we use secure delivery with insurance for all items.
For security reasons, we do not accept deliveries to drop-off locations, delivery boxes, or forwarding. Please make sure to collect your package in person.

Specify delivery date and time

You can specify a delivery date from the third day onwards from the order date. If you would like the shortest delivery time, please select "No Specification". Time slots can be specified using the following categories.

International Shipping

Overseas shipping: EMS (Express Mail Service)
We ship to major countries in Asia, Europe, Oceania, etc.
*We only accept orders totaling up to 200,000 yen (excluding tax) per order.
*Currently, we are unable to deliver to the United States due to shipping circumstances.
(*Delays may occur in other countries, including Canada, depending on the situation.)

[Important points for international shipping]

• Regarding tax exemption: If you set your shipping address overseas, Japanese consumption tax (10%) will be automatically deducted.
• Regarding shipping costs: The payment screen will temporarily show "0 yen" for shipping costs, but this means that the shipping cost will be calculated separately after the order is placed . We will charge you the actual shipping cost based on the weight of the package.
• Documents: The price of the item must be stated on invoices and other documents. The price cannot be hidden even when giving as a gift.
• Customs duties: If customs duties or other charges are incurred, they will be borne by the customer (recipient).

[International shipping process]

1. Please enter your shipping address in alphabetical order. At this point, your order will be exempt from consumption tax.
2. Please complete your order (paying for the product only) with shipping costs set to 0 yen.
3. We will calculate the shipping cost and send you a payment link by email with the final total amount (item price + EMS shipping cost).
4. Once we have confirmed that the shipping fee has been paid, we will ship the item promptly and inform you of the tracking number.

Gift service (free)

Gift wrapping

We offer 10 different types of wrapping paper to suit the occasion and recipient. We will deliver your gift with care in high-quality packaging that does not detract from the quality of the Kutani ware.

Noshi (gift wrapping) available

We offer free gift wrapping for celebrations, thank-you gifts, Buddhist ceremonies, etc. Please specify the name and address on the product page.

Message card

We will create a free design for up to 75 characters (up to 15 characters x 5 lines). Please enter the content on the product page. Our staff will create a beautiful layout.
Depending on the size of the product, it may not be available.

paper bag

If you wish, we will include a paper bag free of charge, which is convenient for hand-delivering gifts. Our staff will select the most suitable bag based on the size of the product.

Paid options (corporate gifts and souvenirs)

We offer special customization suitable for one-of-a-kind artworks, such as for anniversary celebrations, inaugurations, and other special occasions.

Handwritten wooden tag

Each wooden tag is handwritten by a dedicated writer, adding a touch of elegance to your unique piece.

Other information

Regarding receipts and delivery notes

In order to protect the environment, we do not include any documentation indicating the price with your order.
Various documents corresponding to the invoice can be downloaded as PDFs from the link in the shipping confirmation email.

[If you use cash on delivery]
The receipt issued by the delivery company will be your official receipt. You can download an invoice (invoice compatible) from the link in the shipping completion email, so please use that as well.

Cancellations, returns and exchanges

Cancellation: Yes, as long as it is before the product is shipped. Please contact us as soon as possible.
Returns and Exchanges: Due to the nature of these unique art and craft items, and the fact that we only have one in stock, we do not accept returns or exchanges for personal reasons. If there is any damage or initial defect, please contact us within 7 days of receiving the item. We will handle the matter responsibly.

About the characteristics of the work

All of our products are one-of-a-kind, handcrafted by artisans and artists. The subtle differences in the designs, variations in the shade of the glaze, crazing (fine cracks on the surface), and pinholes are not defects, but rather the individuality and texture of the piece.
