At Kutani Premium Selection, we have established the following shipping structure to ensure that your treasured artwork arrives safely and securely.

1. Shipping Rates

Domestic (Japan): Free Shipping Nationwide

※Free shipping applies to all regions across Japan, including Hokkaido, Okinawa, and remote islands.
※For international shipping, actual shipping costs will apply.

2. Shipping Methods & Security (Japan Domestic)

As a rule, domestic orders are shipped via Japan Post "Yu-Pack (with Security Service)." However, for select ultra-high-value masterpieces, specialized fine art transport services are utilized to prioritize artwork safety above all.

• Fine Art Transport: When utilizing specialized fine art transportation, additional time is required for custom packing and dedicated vehicle arrangements compared to standard shipping. Detailed delivery schedules will be communicated individually following order placement.
• High-Value Insurance Coverage: Full shipping insurance is included with every delivery to cover unforeseen transit accidents.
• In-Person Delivery Only: As all pieces are valuable, delivery requires direct handoff in person by the courier.
• No Unattended / Parcel Box Delivery: For security reasons, leaving packages unattended at doorsteps, parcel drop boxes, or mailboxes is not available. We appreciate your understanding.

3. International Shipping

International Carrier: EMS (Express Mail Service)
We accept shipping to major destinations across Asia, Europe, Oceania, etc.
※International orders are strictly accepted up to a total sum of JPY 200,000 (excluding tax) per transaction.
※Due to current international logistics conditions, shipping to the United States is currently unavailable.
(※Shipping delays may also occur in other destinations, including Canada, depending on local conditions.)

【Important Notes for International Shipping】

• Tax Exemption: When setting an international destination address, Japanese consumption tax (10%) will be automatically deducted.
• Shipping Fee Calculation: At checkout, the shipping fee will temporarily display as "JPY 0." This denotes "Calculated separately post-order." The actual shipping cost will be billed separately based on final packaged weight.
• Customs Documentation: Item value must legally be stated on customs invoices. Values cannot be hidden or declared as gift values under any circumstances.
• Customs & Import Duties: Any applicable customs duties or import taxes levied upon destination arrival are the sole responsibility of the recipient (customer).

【International Order Process】

1. Enter your shipping address using Roman (alphabetical) characters. Japanese consumption tax will be exempted at this stage.
2. Complete your order payment for the item price only (with shipping initially shown as JPY 0).
3. Our store will calculate the exact EMS shipping cost and email you a payment link for the final adjusted total (item price + EMS shipping fee).
4. Upon confirming payment of the shipping fee, your order will be dispatched promptly, and a tracking number will be provided via email.

4. Dispatch & Fulfillment Timelines

• Standard Dispatch: Orders with confirmed payment and identity verification completed by 13:00 JST on business days will be shipped within same day to 3 business days.
• Ultra-High-Value Masterpieces (Fine Art Transport): As specialized packing and custom vehicle dispatch are required, fulfillment requires additional processing days.
• Custom / Bespoke Items: Orders including custom wooden plaques, engraved plates, or bespoke requests require the production lead time stated on the respective product page.
• Delivery Date Specification: Domestic delivery dates can be specified starting from 3 days after the order date. (※For items utilizing specialized fine art transport, date selection mechanisms differ, and arrangements will be discussed individually.)

5. Identity Verification

To prevent unauthorized transactions and ensure high-value security, we may contact you via telephone or email for identity verification prior to fulfillment.
Dispatch may be temporarily held until verification is successfully completed. We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation.

6. Inventory Disclaimer

Items listed on our website share synchronized inventory with our physical gallery and other sales channels. Due to system updating intervals, an item may become out of stock even after an order has been completed.
In the event that an item cannot be supplied, we will promptly notify you via email and cancel the order with a full refund.
